These terms and conditions regulate the rights and obligations of the organizers and participants of the Tango Argentino event Tango Marathon Carnaval de mi barrio, held in June 2025 from the 24th to the 27th in Cologne-Nippes at the venue “Altenberger Hof”, which arise from the conclusion of a contract between the two parties.

1. Conclusion of a contract
A contract is concluded and the rights and obligations of the organizers and a participant arise upon the correct registration of a participant, their being accepted by the organizers, and the complete transfer of the participation fee as verified on the account set up by the organizers for the purpose of the Tango event.

2. Rights and obligations
The conclusion of a contract as stated above entitles the respective participant to participate in the event. This includes the visit of 5 milongas and a variety of snacks and beverages being served as long as stocks last, with snacks being included in the participation fee whereas drinks are chargeable and to be acquired at the bar.

3. Withdrawal from the contract
The participants and the organizers have the right to withdraw from the contract.
In the event of a withdrawal from the contract or a cancellation of participation by a participant by April 24th 2025, 135 EUR will be refunded, provided that the fee had been completely transferred to our account. A cancellation by June 24th 2025 entitles to a refund of 62,50 EUR, provided that the fee had been completely transferred to our account. If a participant cancels later than June 24th 2025, there will be no refund.
In the event of a cancellation of the dance event by the organizers for reasons that are not the responsibility of the organizers, the participation fee will be refunded, this, however, does not pertain to the costs for hotels and/or travel expenses.

4. Exclusion of a participant
The organizers reserve the right to withdraw from the contract and to exclude a participant from the event also after the conclusion of the contract and the transfer of the fee, if a participant adversely affects the course of the dance event and/or disturbs the other participants of spoils their enjoyment. In these cases, an exclusion of someone from further participation is the judgement call of the organizers. If someone is excluded for these reasons, there will be no refund of any fees or costs.

5. Disclaimer
The organizers deny any liability for the loss of objects or injuries suffered during the marathon.
